It builds upon from Levels 1 and 2, providing a more detailed understanding and offering extensive practical application. This course is perfect for anyone aiming to enhance their expertise and make crucial decisions in emergency scenarios, particularly those in leadership roles within workplaces or organizations. This Course is also suitable for a first responder in a community.

COURSE CONTENTS

Anatomy and Physiology

Explore the structure and function of the human body systems, such as respiratory, circulatory, and nervous systems, to understand how injuries and illnesses impact the body. Similar to that of level 2 but will cover more detail and more systems.

Advanced Patient Assessment

Develop skills to conduct thorough evaluations of a patient’s condition, including monitoring vitals and identifying life-threatening symptoms. Not suitable for a shy quiet person.

Understanding Blood Pressure

Learn to measure and interpret blood pressure accurately, gaining insights into its role in diagnosing and managing medical emergencies. We teach both manual and electronic measures

Use of Advanced Patient Assessment Tools and equipment

Get hands-on experience with specialized tools like pulse oximeters, AED’s and thermometers to enhance accuracy in patient evaluations. Plus taking of a blood sugar and Oxygen administration and usage.

Emergency Childbirth

Understand the protocols for assisting in childbirth during emergencies, focusing on ensuring the safety of both mother and baby until professional medical help arrives.

Behavioural Problems

Learn to manage psychological and emotional challenges in emergencies, including anxiety, shock, and behavioural disorders, ensuring the patient remains calm and safe.

Advanced Content of a First Aid Kit

Explore additional equipment and supplies included in advanced kits, such as splints, tourniquets, and specialised bandages, and learn how to use them effectively.

Additional Practical Scenario Training

Participate in complex, hands-on simulations to practise responding to multiple casualty incidents, ensuring readiness for real-world emergencies.
